Development of UAS Operational Data Collection Concept.The UND research team proposes to utilize its COA approved UAS operations, CropCam and Super Hauler, to develop a standardized approach to collect data that can be used to validate and verify the safety studies made during its COA application and approval process. Results from this proposed study will enable the FAA to determine the effectiveness of UAS safety analysis requirements and provide technical information on UAS design, airworthiness, and other safety related issues.
